Inkcups Now, Danvers, Mass., has introduced XFlexx UV LED flexible ink for its XJET industrial inkjet and X2 flatbed UV inkjet printers.
XFlexx is noted for its durability, and can be stretched, folded, bended, twisted or squeezed without cracking or distorting, according to the company. This flexibility means decorators are no longer restricted to hard substrates like glass, plastic, wood and metal. Popular applications include stress balls, foam rubber, soft-touch material, polyurethane, canvas, flexible phone cases, felt, vinyl, jar openers, golf balls and more.
