Roland DGA Corp., Irvine, Calif., recently announced two major forthcoming changes to its executive management team, including one that will affect leadership of its parent company, Roland DG, Hamamatsu, Japan.

Effective Jan. 1, 2013, Rick Scrimger will be named president of Roland DGA Corp. He formerly was vice president of sales and marketing for the company. He will replace current Roland DGA Corp. President Dave Goward, who has been appointed president of worldwide sales and an executive officer for Roland DG.

Goward will continue as CEO of Roland DGA through the remainder of 2013, providing strategic guidance. Scrimger, upon assuming his position as president, will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company and providing critical market insight to Roland DG’s product development team.

The executive management changes within Roland DGA reflect larger organizational changes as Roland DG embarks on a new Global One initiative designed to strengthen the corporation’s leadership positions in the markets it serves around the world, according to the company.

Goward has 30 years of senior-level management experience, including 18 years with Roland DGA. Scrimger has 20 years of product management, sales and marketing experience, including 15 with Roland DGA.
