Brother Enters Wide-Format Latex Segment with Latest Launch
Bridgewater, New Jersey—Brother International Corporation will be entering the signage market with the all-new WF1-L640 64-inch latex wide-format printer.
FULL STORYSawgrass Technologies Inc., Charleston, S.C., and STS Refill Technology, Boca Raton, Fla., have entered into a long-term license agreement under which STS, as an authorized Sawgrass licensee, will sell digital inks for sublimation imaging.
STS joins an exclusive group of companies who have signed similar license agreements with Sawgrass, including BASF, Huntsman (formerly Ciba Specialty Chemical), InkTec, J-Tech (now part of the Kiian Group), Kiian Group, Kiwa Chemical, Mimaki Engineering Co., Nazdar and Sensient Technologies.
Sawgrass owns a patent portfolio of more than 160 patents issued globally and continues to expand with investment in cutting-edge research on digital printing solutions. STS has a global distribution network and has signed a license agreement that allows it to sell its own manufactured dye-sublimation ink around the world for use with printers having a carriage width greater than 42 inches.
