FULL STORYThe Decorating Fulfillment Center heat printing team from Stahls’, St. Clair Shores, Mich., created jerseys on site at the 2015 NHL All-Star Weekend.
Held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, the action began Jan. 23 with the NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft presented by DraftKings. As team captains Nick Foligno of the Columbus Blue and Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks took turns choosing players, the Stahls’ team began printing the jerseys each player would wear, as well as a large number of replica jerseys that were sold Jan. 24-25. They sold out.
Carl Agosta, key accounts sales and licensing, Stahls’ Decorating Fulfillment Center, says the team heat printed about 500 jerseys. Production started Jan. 23 at 9:30 p.m. when names were announced and continued until about 5 a.m. the next morning. Custom on-site printing also took place during the competition on Jan. 24 and the game on Jan. 25.
