Dri-Lex Fabrics to Feature REPREVE Recycled FibersOctober 13, 2009Faytex Corp., Weymouth, Mass., will partner with polyester and nylon yarn producer Unifi to accelerate the development of environmentally friendly apparel and footwear by incorporating REPREVE recycled fibers into its Dri-Lex Eco fabric line. Dri-Lex is an original synthetic moisture-management system from Faytex, and products containing it are available in a range of colors and options. "This business opportunity will allow us to extend the reach of our Dri-Lex Eco program, which we launched about two and a half years ago," said Cindy Fay Stangl, Faytex vice president, in a statement. "One of the benefits of working with REPREVE is the transparency associated with the family of fibers. Through Unifi's U-Trust verification program, the company can actually test and analyze the recycled content through the unique Fiberprint technology, which is very important to Faytex so that our customers can always trust what they are getting."
