Continental Clothing Shines at 2008 EmmysDec 1, 2008
"The GREEN Pavilion is an eco-friendly promotional products event that Emmy attendees [visited] as a buildup to the Emmy Awards," says Simon Bliss, Continental's media coordinator. Continental's EarthPositive collection is made from organic cotton and manufactured solely from renewable green energy generated from wind and solar power. Using this line, CarbonTeeshirt.com printed two eco designs from organic water-based inks, as well as a limited-edition design created by Vogue illustrator Echo Morgan. "The original Eco-Footprint design was inspired by creating awareness and, most importantly, making people concerned with their own carbon footprint, but in an eco-chic way," says Christopher Davies, CEO of CarbonTeeshirt.com. "We wanted to bring green apparel to the festivities. We're excited about working with a partner that shares our environmental beliefs and concerns." — H.H. RECENT INDUSTRY NEWS HEADLINES
