Magic Headwear to Offer ApparelSept 1, 2008
The Magic Activewear line will offer T-shirts, hoodies and piqué polo shirts in men, ladies' and kids' styles. Though the company will initiate a splash with Magic Activewear, it's not the only apparel line the company plans to launch. Also scheduled are the debuts of a workwear line, Blue and White, that will feature long- and short-sleeve shirts; a line of urban-styled short-sleeve T-shirts called Big D; a "metro, young adult" line of men's and ladies' form-fitting T-shirts, fleece and 1x1 rib tank tops called 213; and other lines that include eco-friendly men's and women's T-shirts and garment-dyed apparel, according to Rucker. Looking further down the road, he says the company also is planning to launch a performance apparel line, Magic Tech, by 2010. Rucker also says both the company's locations — in California and Memphis, Tenn. — will be fully stocked with product by next year.
