HaleyBopTees Creates T-Shirt for Wedding Fashion Show

Oct 19, 2007

HaleyBopTees, a label that produces art-inspired T-shirts designed by 7-year-old Haley Schmidt from Orange County, Calif., has created limited edition T-shirts for the Junko Yoshioka Runway Show in New York. The design, depicting a wedding gown and flowers, will be included in 300 gift bags for attendees of the Junko Yoshioka Runway Show portion of the Wedding Channel Couture Show taking place at the Waldorf Astoria on Oct. 21. The Wedding Channel Couture show is set to feature top wedding designers including Junko Yoshioka, renowned for her elegant designs worn by celebrities Jessica Alba, Claire Forlani, Ann Paquin and Katherine Heigel.

“I started this clothing line because I love art and I love fashion,” says Schmidt. “Art is very inspiring and I hope that my clothing line will inspire other kids to follow their dreams too because you are NEVER too young!”

HaleyBopTees also gives $1 of the profits generated to Art With A Heart For Children, a Florida program that teaches fine art lessons to sick and injured children in hospitals to help heal their bodies and spirits.
