"Personal Soundtrack T-Shirt" Arises from April Fool's Joke

Fairfax, Va.-based DVICE, the gadget store on the
Think Geek Web site, recently created a T-shirt with a workable speaker. For April Fools Day, the Web site posted an image of a black T-shirt with a working speaker on the front as an April Fool's joke. Think Geek didn't think such a T-shirt would be popular or that people would ever pay money for it, but people soon began e-mailing the company asking for the T-shirt.
The Web site quickly printed the T-shirt with a workable speaker, which has a pocket remote that plays either music or sound effects. The name of the T-shirt is 'Personal Soundtrack T-Shirt' and is available on the Think Geek Web site.

When EDUN, a fashion company specializing in organic, eco-friendly clothing and graphic T-shirts, was founded in 2005 by musician, activist and philanthropist Bono and his wife, Ali Hewson, the duo also wanted to focus on sustainable employment on the ground level in the region where the clothing is produced: sub-Saharan Africa.
