EmbroidX.com Launches Embroidery Guide for Consumers and Businesses

Rockville, Va.-based EmbroidX.com, an online guide for embroidery-related goods and services, recently launched its custom embroidery and promotional products online directory for consumers, entrepreneurs and businesses. Customized apparel buyers — individual or business — can list themselves on the directory for free, allowing other consumers to map them out state-by-state and view commercial embroiderers nearby. It is a comprehensive directory of local and national custom embroiderers, screen printers, apparel decorators and promotional product retailers links on the Web.

"Our mass customization, long-tail culture has created an explosion of demand for customized specialty products," says spokesman Ward Rimme. "Individuals want to express themselves uniquely through personalized, "one-of-a-kind" T-shirts, hats, apparel and other fashion statements. Custom embroidery and screen printing allows people and organizations to be, in essence, their own brand. Our job is to match those folks with businesses."
