Machine Maintenance: Help from the Experts

May 1, 2008

No matter what kind of apparel decoration your shop offers, you rely on certain equipment to produce quality work in a timely fashion. Achieving optimum production requires that your machines run smoothly at all times, whether they be embroidery machines, screen printing presses, heat presses or cutters.

Sharpen your skills at the ISS Machine Maintenance Clinics, which are offered at all ISS shows on the second morning prior to the opening of the show. The classes are machine-specific and take place at the participating exhibitors' booths on the show floor. Small class sizes and specific instructions give you insight from company representatives on how to maintain well-running equipment.

The next sessions will be held at ISS New England on Saturday, July 19 from 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. Attendees should plan to meet with company representatives at 8:15 a.m. in the registration area. Space is extremely limited, as class size varies from 10 to 20 people per session. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and, for safety reasons, you may only attend one seminar rather than alternating between sessions and booths.

These classes are not included in the ISS full-seminar package option. For pricing and information on the ISS New England exhibitors participating in the clinics, visit issshows.com/newengland. — M.D.
