M&R Splits Sales Force into East-West Divisions

Glen Ellyn, Ill.-based M&R Sales and Service recently divided its national sales force into eastern and western divisions, with the dividing line being the Mississippi River. "In the last few years, domestic sales have greatly exceeded expectations, bringing us to this point far faster than we'd anticipated," says Rich Hoffman, president and CEO. "Our original plan was to create two separate domestic sales divisions by the end of the decade. However, when sales reached current levels, we knew that in order to continue providing the high level of service M&R is know for, we couldn't wait until 2010."

Glen Carliss, the company's domestic sales manager since 2005, will serve as M&R's domestic sales manager — East. Previously vice president of domestic sales, Rick Nesladek will now serve as M&R's domestic sales manager — West.
