Brother Intl. Corp., Bridgewater, N.J., is helping frugal fashionistas revamp their wardrobes with its "Project Runway" series of sewing machines. As an official licensee of the fashion television show "Project Runway," Brother is releasing its new machine series as a way to inspire women to craft their own original clothing as living costs continue to rise.
Starting at $300, the "Project Runway" sewing machines feature built-in stitches, one-step auto-size buttonhole styles, an LCD screen and are branded with the "Project Runway" logo.
Independence, Mo.-based Dunbrooke Apparel Corp. just released its 2009 product catalog, which will feature Reebok promotional apparel as well as new Dunbrooke styles.
