T-Shirt Contest Hopes to Improve Air QualityMarch 25, 2008The metro department of Cincinnati aims to improve air quality by holding a T-shirt contest called "Everybody Rides Metro," which will help raise money for new hybrid metro buses. Hybrid vehicles do not emit harmful pollutants into the air like other vehicles. The T-shirts to convey the idea of environmental responsibility and bring awareness to the benefits of making changes for a greener world. The winner of the contest will have his or her design featured on T-shirts and other apparel for sale in the community and on the Internet, and also will receive a Visa gift card for $100.
