Raw Talent Never Says NeverMarch 1, 2008
"Right now, we're focusing on justice, human rights, suicide prevention and the environment," explains Cody Murray, Raw Talent president. "When someone purchases a [themed] T-shirt from our online store, the proceeds are donated to the cause that [relates specifically] to the T-shirt." Raw Talent has teamed up with The Alliance for Climate Protection, Nuci's Space, The Georgia Innocence Project and Innocence Atlanta for the NVR Say NVR campaign, with each organization receiving proceeds from T-shirt sales. Murray says he expects to add more causes as NVR Say NVR's fan base, including more than 2,500 Facebook and MySpace friends, expands. The store's four T-shirts are printed with the NVR Say NVR logo on the front, but the star in the middle of the logo changes color with each cause. For example, the environment T-shirt features a green star, while the suicide prevention T-shirt features a blue star. "On each sleeve of the T-shirts, there's also a different graphic representation of each cause," Murray adds. For example, the sleeve of a justice-themed T-shirt shows a handcuff. Each T-shirt also has a story printed on the inside, detailing each cause. Check out Raw Talent's NVR Say NVR shirts at nvrsaynvrcampaign.com. — S.M. RECENT INDUSTRY NEWS HEADLINES
