T-Quoter Sold to Software MakerApril 23, 2009CD Tees Software LLC, New Philadelphia, Ohio, has sold T-Quoter, a popular shop management program for apparel decorators, to ReSource Inc., Denver, a software company that specializes in applications for small businesses. ReSource took over the T-Quoter shop management software application including sales, support and ongoing product development effective April 15, 2009. Says Brian Walker, president of T-Quoter: “CD Tees Software appreciates everyone's business and support through the years. We believe this decision is in your best interest and will help bring forth a stronger, more useable and robust product. This move is being made to combine the strengths of both companies for the purpose of providing you (our customers) with a stronger application for your business and increased focus on your service and support.” Resource has a 20 year history in software development and support for POS (point of sale) systems, small parcel shipping, marketing and business tracking modules, and other software for small businesses. The company will add the 800 registered T-Quoter users to its already substantial customer base. “Taking Resource's manpower and experience and combining it with the T-Quoter application will result — over time — in a more robust product backed by top-quality support and feature enhancement,” says Resource spokesman Ron Gibbs. Current owners of T-Quoter software should be receiving an e-mail survey from ReSource, and anyone with questions may call (800) 818-0492 and ask for Jo or Ron, or email T-Quoter@resourcesoftware.com. — T.M.
