Brother Delivers, Installs First GT-782

Brother Intl. Corp., Bridgewater, N.J., announced that it recently installed the first GT-782 white ink-capable dual platen garment printer, which is now available worldwide.

The company delivered the printer to veteran garment decorator John Anton, owner of DesignAShirt.com, an online custom screen printing and embroidery company headquartered in Tempe, Ariz. The printer was delivered on June 26 and was completely functional by June 29.

The GT-782 can print on multiple garments simultaneously, thus increasing production as a result of reduced cycle times and flexible downloading of new images, making it ideal for medium- to high-volume shops, according to the company.
