Rock 'N Roll T-shirt Shop Becomes Big BusinessAug 12, 2008In the late '90s, college buddies Lee Tepper and Justin Beck decided to launch MerchDirect.net, an online business revolving around rock T-shirts. MerchDirect sold 30 T-shirts on the first day its e-shop opened its online doors, and its two founders knew they were on to something. Several years later, MerchDirect has grown from a single storefront to a 40,000-square-foot building that houses screen printing and embroidery machines in addition to the design and distribution operations for all of its merchandise.
