Rock 'N Roll T-shirt Shop Becomes Big BusinessAug 12, 2008In the late '90s, college buddies Lee Tepper and Justin Beck decided to launch MerchDirect.net, an online business revolving around rock T-shirts. MerchDirect sold 30 T-shirts on the first day its e-shop opened its online doors, and its two founders knew they were on to something. Several years later, MerchDirect has grown from a single storefront to a 40,000-square-foot building that houses screen printing and embroidery machines in addition to the design and distribution operations for all of its merchandise. It is the official merchant for artists including Sean Kingston, Joss Stone and several other chart-topping musicians. RECENT INDUSTRY NEWS HEADLINES
