Heritage Sportswear Gets ‘Business Ready’July 1, 2009
The line is ideal for businesses or organizations that want to give employees a coordinated look while providing them with garments that suit their job functions. “The manager at a restaurant can wear an oxford shirt and a tie, and the busboy can wear an apron and piqué shirt that coordinate,” says Phillip Ambros, marketing director, Sierra Pacific. The twill, oxford and piqué shirts, as well as the ties and aprons, are treated with DuPont Teflon for stain resistance, while the twill, microfleece and knit shirts are moisture resistant. Men’s garments are available in sizes S-6XL, and women’s garments feature a tapered design and are offered in sizes XS-3XL. Twill (11 colors, plus pink for women) and oxford (three colors) shirts are available in long- and short-sleeve styles, with tall sizes available for men. Piqué, honeycomb knit and microfleece shirts come in 11, four and six colors, respectively. The ties, which are 100% silk, are designed to match at least five colors in the twill line, Ambros says. The twill aprons are available in eight colors. Each piece is suitable for embroidery, Ambros says, though Teflon-treated pieces will require a special polyvinyl ink for screen printing.
