Aftershock Debuts Eco-Friendly Mesh Installment DeviceFebruary 16, 2010Aftershock, Los Angeles, introduces the new PanelFRAME, an earth-friendlier concept in mesh-to-frame installment and reinstallment. The device allows screens to be assembled by installing a specially designed mesh panel using a hand tension tool. Mesh installment requires no glue or chemicals and is accomplished in less than one minute at high tension levels, the manufacturer says. “The carbon footprint left from stockpiles of wood and metal frames will be greatly reduced,” a spokesperson adds. Single-color designs can be removed, stored and reinstalled for reruns, and the assembly of the PanelFRAME requires very little space and no prior skill. The patented frame is made of lightweight aluminum that is leak tested and powder coated. To see the device first-hand, visit the Lawson Screen and Digital Products booth (#839) at ISS Orlando or NazDar SourceOne booth (#538) at ISS Atlantic City.
