Colman and Co., MadeiraUSA Announce Distribution Partnership

Colman and Co., Tampa, Fla., and MadeiraUSA, Laconia, N.H., recently announced that they have entered into a distribution partnership.

“We’re happy to have Madeira embroidery thread as part of the Colman and Co. lineup," says Michael Georgevich, director of operations for Colman and Co. "Our customers that buy other embroidery supplies from us, like Coats Bobbins and Durkee Hoops, have come to expect the best from Colman and Madeira fits with that. We’re especially pleased to offer their new Firefighter line of heat-resistant embroidery thread.”

Colman and Co. also cited Madeira’s high quality and its environmental policies as motivators for agreeing to carry the company's products. Recently, Madeira announced its target of using 30% recycled material in its entire Polyneon polyester thread line.

The company will begin shipping Madeira Polyneon embroidery thread nationwide in January 2012.
