Condé Offers Updated Crystal Decorating SystemJanuary 20, 2012
The new CrystalMPrints system uses the recently introduced GO UNO printer, specialized papers and a swing-away heat press to create full-color, photographic-quality crystal gifts and awards for a variety of special occasions, such as sporting events, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and graduations. While the previous CrystalMPrints version could produce only clear-backed awards, the new system can produce crystal awards with a clear or white backing via paper choices that include Hard Surface I (self-weeding clear film), Hard Surface II (clear film) and LaserMPrints Crystal Paper (white backing). LaserMPrints GO UNO's capabilities also extend beyond crystal making. The GO UNO is the first and only LED printer with 11" x 17" media output specifically built and certified for heat transfer papers. Developed by OKI and Neenah Paper, the unit's OKI print engine and toners produce 11" x 17" color transfers for colored fabrics and hard substrates. Also, the LaserMPrints GO UNO has built-in media weights and color profiles for Neenah (Photo-Trans, IMAGECLIP and Techni-Print) and Condé brand transfer papers.
