Floriani Introduces New Thread

Floriani Commercial Products, Knoxville, Tenn., recently introduced its new metallic thread.

According to the company, its new thread is colorfast, doesn’t kink and will run smoothly in embroidery machines at speeds up to 1,000 stitches per minute.

This 40-weight thread has a durable polyester core that is wrapped with metallic colors. Then, it’s coated with a lubricating hardener to prevent the metal from flaking. This lubricant also allows the thread to flow evenly and without restriction through embroidery machines.

In addition, when using Floriani Premium Metallic Thread, there’s no need to change out the sewing needle. This thread works well with the same needle that is used for polyester and rayon threads, according to the company.
