Hirsch Intl. Offers New Screen PrinterDecember 20, 2011
This press is ideal for shops that do not want to tie up their larger automatics with this type of work. The Compact has four pallets with two print heads and a station for a flash cure. This configuration makes it extremely fast to print/flash/print and unload, according to the company. This press features a 17" x 17" print area and has many of the same features as its older brother, the MHM S Type. These include interchangeable pallets, microregistration, individual print head control, multiple print stroke capability, plastisol/water-based print modes, sequential start/finish, sample/test printing, dwell timer and remote flash cure programming. The super-rigid pallet support arms allow for zero pallet deflection and even print coverage over the entire image area along with flawless registration accuracy. The Compact requires only single-phrase electricity and a small air compressor reducing the cost and noise of running your press. The footprint is 9.5 feet, which makes it ideal for on-site printing, as well as a start-up press for a shop in a garage or basement. A larger size also is available.
