Neenah Paper Launches Eco-Friendly, Cuttable FilmSeptember 22, 2011Neenah Paper Inc., Alpharetta, Ga., recently launched Neenah EPC Film — an environmentally preferable replacement for vinyl that can be applied to a variety of substrates and fabrics, according to the company. Neenah EPC Film is free of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), bisphenol A (BPA), formaldehyde and phthalates. Available in green, black, white, blue and red, Neenah EPC Film provides intense and vivid color on shirts, jackets, hats, tins, glass, acrylic panels, mirrors, wood, canvas bags, notebooks, scrapbooks, tiles, stones, large signs and more. “The beauty of this product is that it is easy to cut and weed, can be applied to lots of different types of products via heat press or hand iron and the bold colors remain that way without fading in sunlight or with washing,” says Gerry Rector, associate marketing director for Neenah Paper. “So our customers achieve an embellished, decorated product to promote a company or event that is environmentally preferable to what currently exists on the market today.” Neenah EPC Film also offers high opacity, and it can be embellished to create a range of additional colors and appearances.
