Neenah Paper's Heat Transfer Paper Receives Indigo CertificationAugust 02, 2011TECHNI-PRINT 4.0 Heat Transfer Paper from Neenah Paper Inc., Alpharetta, Ga., has received additional Indigo certification through the Rochester Institute of Technology’s HP Indigo Certification program for specialty media. This heat transfer paper now is certified on the Indigo 7000 and the 5500 series. The program enables manufacturers for specialty media to evaluate substrate compatibility with HP Indigo Digital Offset Color presses, according to the company. Set-up information on how to use TECHNI-PRINT 4.0 is available for Indigo users on the Indigo website. In addition to TECHNI-PRINT 4.0, the company's PHOTO-TRANS SC and DURATRANS Heat Transfer Papers also are HP Indigo certified. TECHNI-PRINT 4.0 Heat Transfer Paper was created for use in combination with the newest toner chemistries and the newest economical laser printers on the market today. It peels easily, reduces toner scatter for whiter whites, and saves time and money by printing faster and more economically on the new laser printers, according to the company. TECHNI-PRINT 4.0 feeds through most laser color printers and laser color copiers, as well as the Indigo presses. It can be applied to cotton, polyester or blends, and boasts great wash and vivid color reproduction.
