TDF Group Debuts New Heat Transfer Film

TDF Group, Tewksbury, Mass., recently debuted a matte, all-purpose heat transfer film for light-colored garments called TDF-1012M, Print Premium-Econo.

TDF-1012M is a 100% polyurethane film with a patented "Quick Melt Adhesive" that conforms to the fabric in less than 10 seconds. It does not crack or peel, and can be multilayered, screen printed on, embroidered and has a PET liner for laser cutting. Customers can wash and wear many times without fading. It also is available in semi-gloss, according to the company.

This film works best with printers that use solvent, eco-solvent or Latex ink. Ideal for light-colored fabrics, Print Premium-Econo can be applied to nylons, cotton, Lycra spandex, polyester, microfiber, wicket, leather and cotton blends. It can be used on performancewear, team bags, jackets and lingerie, as well as recreational or commercial textile applications.
