TDF Group Debuts New Heat Transfer FilmMarch 18, 2011TDF Group, Tewksbury, Mass., recently debuted a matte, all-purpose heat transfer film for light-colored garments called TDF-1012M, Print Premium-Econo. TDF-1012M is a 100% polyurethane film with a patented "Quick Melt Adhesive" that conforms to the fabric in less than 10 seconds. It does not crack or peel, and can be multilayered, screen printed on, embroidered and has a PET liner for laser cutting. Customers can wash and wear many times without fading. It also is available in semi-gloss, according to the company. This film works best with printers that use solvent, eco-solvent or Latex ink. Ideal for light-colored fabrics, Print Premium-Econo can be applied to nylons, cotton, Lycra spandex, polyester, microfiber, wicket, leather and cotton blends.
