Embroidery Training Videos offers its new Universal Embroidery Repair DVD. The instructional video is applicable to all brands of embroidery machines, and covers topics such as trimmer and motor repair, maintenance and adjustments, needle bar and pressure foot, and reciprocator and rotary hook.

Pre-wound, magnetic-sided bobbins from Madeira contain 100% continuous filament polyester thread and come in style L. The bobbins maintain uniform tension control throughout their life, and there isn’t backlash or loss of yardage at the end of the bobbin, according to the company.

Stahls' ID Direct offers TwillStitch Pro software for tackle twill that converts cut or vector files in multiple formats into zigzag, satin or tack-down stitches in only three steps. Users first can load their artwork, then select the outline and convert it to TwillStitch Pro, and finally save the graphic as a stitch file.

Hollingsworth & Vose
Co.'s cap backing is specifically designed for high-stitch-count embroidery applications of 7,500 spi or more. The grade 3045 material is specially formulated of a cellulose/polyester blend and contains more polyester than traditional backing for added perforation resistance.

Stitch & Sew Version 2.0 embroidery software from Compucon USA includes tools for lettering, editing and digitizing. It is designed for new embroiderers and multimedia decorators entering the embroidery field. The Embroidery Studio and Embroidery Studio Plus levels include online and CD training options.

EmbSupplies.com offers its new water-dissolvable Cutaway/Washaway stabilizer, which is designed for creating freestanding appliqués or emblems. The stabilizer is soft, sheer and provides good support to freestanding embroidery, according to the company.

The LCD E Series SWF/1501C singlehead embroidery machine from SWF East Inc. is designed to allow for commercial quality production in small spaces, making it ideal for home and mobile businesses. It features 15 needles, and can sew up to 1,200 stitches per minute.

S.M. Cristall Co. Inc. now carries a line of sequins available on 100-meter reels. The reels fit all industrial embroidery machines equipped with a sequin-attaching device, according to the company.

The Servo-driven Elite Pro II singlehead embroidery machine from Barudan America Inc. features a large sewing field of 330mm x 500mm, and sews at speeds as fast as 1,300 stitches per minute on flats and 1,000 stitches per minute on caps.

Sprayway Inc. offers its No. 829 spot lifter to remove grease and oil stains from clothes, neckties, hats and more. The spray-on formula is VOC compliant and doesn't leave rings behind, according to the company.

EmbroiderySupplies.com LLC's hooping press is foot-operated, which takes away the physical stress of hand hooping and allows users to hoop items consistently and accurately. All attachments are custom-made to fit a customer's existing hoops.

Alba-5 lubricant from Albatross USA Inc. is a new embroidery machine lubricating spray that delivers high-quality, clear mineral oil in a measured dose, thereby eliminating oil drips that can stain fabric. A specially designed tube dispenser insures precise placement without lubricant waste or overspray.

ABC Embroidery's Hoop Mates alignment tool includes three standard interchangeable fronts for adult, youth/bag and infant/sleeve/pant leg, enabling embroiderers to decorate almost any garment. It is available for all commercial machine hoops as well as all home-embroidery machine hoops.

The All In 1 Hooper from Tex Inc. has five boards embedded into one device. Boards for adults, juniors, toddlers, infants and sleeves all collapse independently to adjust to the needed size.

Colman & Co.'s Albatross Lily White machine oil is a low-viscosity, water-white lubricating oil that will not leave stains on fabrics, according to the company. The oiler features a unique zoom spout, which is designed to access hard-to-reach areas. It also is refillable.

Dalco Athletic Lettering offers the VP51 Micro-Tip Embroidery Snips, which have sharp tips and narrow blades so threads can be cut without damaging fabric. The snips also have an auto-return action and curved blades so there is less risk of creating holes.

Diagonal No-Show Nylon Mesh from Cotswold Industries is designed for use on light-colored fabrics where traditional stabilizer shows through the front of a garment. It is made from a low-melt adhesive that bonds at 260 degrees.

Brother's Sequin Device is easy to use and works with a wide variety of sequin sizes and shapes. It also fits all Brother singlehead embroidery machines.

The Tajima TFMX-IIC 1506/436 6-head, 15-needle embroidery machine from Hirsch Intl. features MicroSmart Technology, a notched needle plate for stitching on caps, patented automatic thread trimmer and more. It also has several innovative noise-reducing mechanisms.

The Amaya XT from Melco Embroidery Systems features a precision laser-tracing eye, Acti-Feed automatic thread tensioning, 16-color backup system and can sew up to 1,500 stitches per minute.

Pantograms Mfg. Co. Inc. offers the ESP 9100 NET singlehead embroidery machine. This 15-needle model combines the latest technology with Expert Stitch Manager software to network an unlimited number of machines through a LAN. Each head can sew individual designs or all can sew the same design simultaneously.

The Rhino Bond Crystal bonding solution from RhinoTech instantly adheres to and dries on leather, rubber, stoner, glass, metal, plastic, wood, copper and most fabrics. The adhesive is waterproof, and is ideal for applying rhinestones, sequins and more.

Glide trilobal polyester thread from Fil-Tec Inc. offers less needle friction, enabling users to run machines at lower tensions levels. It also offers a brighter sheen than competitor threads, and is designed to eliminate looping and puckering, according to the company.
