Our shop decided to specialize in printing water-based discharge inks because it creates the softest possible hand, especially on dark shirts. The market demands soft prints and by mastering the best techniques for discharge printing, we’ve found it has dramatically increased our business. We also print for other shops whose customers want discharge, but they do not want to invest the time and trouble to develop good techniques. So it has been a big win-win for our shop.
