AHEAD to Debut GraphixWeld Technique
AHEAD, New Bedford, Mass., recently debuted a new ornamentation technique called GraphixWeld.
GraphixWeld enables AHEAD to create satin-finish, smooth, flat graphics, which are “fused” to the garment’s fabric, according to the company. In addition, the technique allows for unique placement locations, such as collar tips, back of collars, side panels and backbones.
“Each graphic will be color coordinated to every item on the order and will feature striking details like technical, patterned backgrounds and gradient colors to complement technical outerwear and performance polo shirts,” says Chuck Lord, chief creative officer of AHEAD.
Additional GraphixWeld customer benefits include small minimum orders and quick turnaround time, according to the company.
