A4 Goes Green with Recycled Polyester
A4, manufacturer of premium sportswear and team uniforms, is now making all its most popular apparel, and the vast majority of its line, with recycled polyester.
FULL STORYInkSoft, Albuquerque, N.M. recently announced that Marshall Atkinson, a 24-year veteran of the decorated apparel industry, has joined its team.
At InkSoft, he will put his technical, art and business expertise to use in software development and in furthering company’s educational efforts across its blogs, webinars and videos. He also will oversee the creation of a new tool, the InkSoft Production Manager. He will draw on his background as an art director and chief operations officer in building this new tool.
A print shop’s art director for 14 years after completing graduate studies at Florida State University, Atkinson went on to become vice president of operations at T-Formation, followed by a year of consulting, before becoming chief operating officer at Milwaukee-based Visual Impressions, a contract decorator offering screen printing, embroidery and digitizing primarily to the promotional products market.
Having left Visual Impressions in 2016 to start his own company, Atkinson Consulting, he is in the process of starting a business-to-business apparel service called WORK and will continue to share his knowledge as a contributor to industry publications and as a seminar speaker. — J.L.
