BERNINA of America, Aurora, Ill., has launched a “Share Your Halloween Selfie” Instagram contest, offering participants a chance to win a bernette Chicago 5 sewing machine.
Participants can enter by registering for the contest at BERNINA’s WeAllSew blog, then snapping a selfie while in costume and posting it to Instagram using the hashtag #BERNINASelfie.
Only one entry per person will be eligible for the drawing. The contest runs until Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m. central time.
One selfie will be selected by the sponsor’s panel of judges and the winner will be announced Nov. 17 on BERNINA’s WeAllSew blog.
The bernette Chicago 5 offers 212 stitch patterns, including a one-step buttonhole stitch, 100 decorative stitches and two alphabet fonts. In addition, the Chicago 5 has a 7mm stitch width, an LCD screen with direct-selection buttons, a semi-automatic needle threader, an LED sewing light and a drop-in bobbin system.
