Charles River Apparel Sponsors Head of the Charles Regatta

Charles River Apparel, Sharon, Mass., was the premier outfitter for several teams and events at the 50th Head of the Charles Regatta, which was held Oct. 18-19 in Boston.

As part of a three-year, $200,000 partnership commitment, Charles River outfitted Community Rowing Inc.’s (CRI) “Row Boston” team, comprised of youth from the Boston Public Schools, in custom Charles River rowing unisuits. In addition, CRI athletes participating in Head of the Charles’ Para events were outfitted in hi-tech, wicking T-shirts and warm-ups. CRI staff members working at the event wore Charles River’s men’s and women’s Stealth pullovers and jackets.

In addition to providing apparel for the event, Charles River Apparel provided gear for CRI’s “Row Boston” program, which includes more than 2,000 hi-tech T-shirts for Boston Public Schools middle and high school students who are learning to row through CRI’s free outreach program. 

The partnership is scheduled to continue through 2016.
