FULL STORYDickies, Fort Worth, Texas, might be known for its coveralls and work pants, but the company has recently taken its apparel from workable to wearable. Inspired by its retail line, Dickies has taken popular trends and integrated them into its Workwear line so workers can feel both stylish and comfortable on the job. From performance attributes for increased mobility to an updated women’s line, Dickies hopes to help employees feel more confident at work, according to the company.
“We’ve always been well-known for bottoms, but we offer head-to-toe solutions for a variety of work industries,” says Susan Kohout, marketing director, Dickies Occupational Workwear. “We help our customers by providing the whole outfit so they don’t have to work with more than one vendor to fulfill their needs.”
Highlights of the Workwear line’s functionality include added mobility to each garment, moisture wicking and overall softness to increase comfort on the job. Dickies Workwear offers entire collections for food-industry workers and tactical law-enforcement officers. While the new line supports trendy looks, Dickies prides itself on continuing research studies to include added functionality to help workers on the job perform their best, according to the company. Dickies also has updated its men’s, ladies, kids, tactical, hospitality, and Ecopride lines.— D.D.
