Floriani Software, Knoxville, Tenn., is offering an updated version of its embroidery digitizing software, which is now called Floriani Total Control U.
This program was designed for the home embroidery industry, but is powerful enough for professionals, according to the company.
With the new name, the company also is introducing a new platform that has the same digitizing and editing tools as the old version, as well as some exclusive new capabilities that make digitizing more intuitive, according to the company. This new version is free to all current owners of Floriani Total Control.
New tools include a wave gradient fill pattern, wave color blend patterns, and the ability to apply template layouts and a fabric texture background to designs. Also new is the ability to create name drops and buttonholes.
A new photo stitch wizard allows users to take a photograph and render it in stitches. They also can add zig-zag, wave, twirl, pinch and spherize distortion to objects.
