GSG, Dallas, raised $35,000 for pancreatic cancer research as part of its annual Hank Granberry Charity Classic.
The four-man scramble golf tournament is in its 17th year, named in honor of H.L. “Hank” Granberry, the father of GSG president Mark Granberry, who passed away of pancreatic cancer at age 76.
The event was held Oct. 21 at the Stonebriar Fazio Resort in Frisco, Texas, with the proceeds going to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
To date, the event has raised more than $300,000. — M.Q.
