InkSoft, Albuquerque, N.M., has added a commenting function to its web stores.
This capability enables users to provide an opportunity for customers to share their support for causes and events with others on any InkSoft-powered site.
To set up this marketing feature, users create an account with Disqus, a free service that is used to embed or attach the tool inside users’ stores. They can then log on and go to “Settings” to add Disqus to their site and automatically configure their URL.
Users select the appropriate code (UC), and then copy and paste the script that’s presented onto their site under “Expand Store Content,” and then click “Save.”
Facebook, Google Plus and Twitter also can be used to initiate a Disqus account, and customers can join the discussion from these media. They also can publish and share individual comments and reply to them.
