A4 Goes Green with Recycled Polyester
A4, manufacturer of premium sportswear and team uniforms, is now making all its most popular apparel, and the vast majority of its line, with recycled polyester.
FULL STORYLIDS Foundation, Indianapolis, has announced Our Military Kids Inc., a non-profit organization recognizing and supporting military families across the country, as its 2015 national partner.
LIDS Foundation, the philanthropic support arm of LIDS Sports Group, presented a $200,000 check to Our Military Kids to help sustain its efforts in keeping military children engaged in athletic, fine arts and tutoring programs.
Our Military Kids will collaborate with the Foundation to identify a variety of volunteer opportunities actively engaging LIDS Sports Group employees.
Initiatives will include:
– Postcards from Our Military Kids children will be sent to LIDS stores throughout the country.
– Children and their families will experience fun activities with LIDS employees, like a night at a baseball game.
– All LIDS stores will receive static clings to display, stating, “We are a proud sponsor of Our Military Kids.”
– Each child that receives an Our Military Kids grant will receive a LIDS Loves pin.
