A4 Goes Green with Recycled Polyester
A4, manufacturer of premium sportswear and team uniforms, is now making all its most popular apparel, and the vast majority of its line, with recycled polyester.
FULL STORYSpecialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), Fairfax, Va., returned to SOURCING at MAGIC, which was held Feb. 16-19 in Las Vegas, with the SGIA Innovation Zone.
This exclusive area was designed to showcase the association as the go-to source for complete and unbiased information. It also put the SGIA community of printers listed on printproviders.org in front of thousands of apparel buyers.
In addition to screen printing, direct-to-garment inkjet and dye-sublimation technology, this year’s Zone featured a digital cut-and-sew workflow display.
“This was the first time cut-and-sew was in our Zone,” says Johnny Shell, SGIA’s vice president of technical service. “It really reflects the current state-of-the-art digital technology that is being used as cut-and-sew is moving back onshore. It is a growing and important trend.”
