FULL STORYThe St. Louis Clothing Co., Fenton, Mo., and The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA), launched a fund-raising web store to raise money for Blake Bahr using InkSoft, Albuquerque, N.M., software.
The infant, who was born Nov. 11, 2014, has been diagnosed with end stage renal failure and will need a transplant. The estimated cost is $500,000.
The web store sold “Brave Blake’s Battle” T-shirts, with all of the revenue donated directly to COTA.
COTA also assisted in organizing a “Steak for Blake” night in Arnold, Mo., where the Texas Roadhouse donated 10% of food purchases to COTA. In October, another event, which will combine a dinner, auction and trivia night, also will raise money for this cause.
