The Brother BE-0901E-AC is a 9-needle, singlehead embroidery machine
that is capable of sewing flat, tubular and finished cap items. It has a maximum sewing speed of 1,200 spm, automatic color change, jumbo bobbin and automatic lubrication system. A 12-needle model, the BE-1201BAC also is available.

The Barudan servo-driven Elite Pro II has a large sewing field in a 170 lb. cast aluminum frame. The 15-needle compact singlehead machine sews at 1,300 stitches-per-minute (SPM) on flat goods and 1,000 SPM on caps, according to the manufacturer.

Fil-Tec is offering its Glide thread on 1,000 meter mini-spools, giving users more flexibility in providing cost-effective color solutions for customers. Glide is designed to maintain consistent thread tension throughout each spool, resulting in consistent stitch formation, fewer thread breaks and fewer machine stops.

TwillStitch Pro, from Stahls’ ID Direct, is tackle twill software designed to convert cut or vector files in multiple formats into zigzag, satin or tack-down stitches. TwillStitch Pro™ exports to a number of different types of embroidery machines and is compatible with Adobe Illustrator, HPGL plotter files, Windows Metafiles and more.

For a durable thread with a super bright shine, Robison-Anton’s Super Brite Polyester® has a high tensile strength with a sheen similar to rayon. Offered by American Embroidery Supply, this colorfast thread is 120 denier, two-ply 40-weight thread that comes in two sizes: a king-size spool that contains 5,500 yards and a mini-king spool that holds 1,000 meters of thread.

The Proel Millennium III Professional level digitizing software program from Bito is designed for digitizers who want to expand beyond basic digitizing capabilities. It includes a powerful lettering system and a sophisticated stitch editor that allows you to modify designs even if they have been created by other systems and/or in different work file formats.

Brooks Industries is offering a premium-grade, 3-oz.cutaway (PCA300) that is designed to hold more than 40,000 stitches without losing registration. This dense stabilizer provides a firm foundation for high stitch counts while still offering excellent drapability. Only one layer is used for most jobs, two layers for sewout samples.

Colman and Co. offers four different kits of Royal brand polyester thread, each containing 25 5,000 meter cones. Royal thread combines the high tensile strength and durability of polyester with the radiant sheen of rayon. It's made of 100% polyester, 120-denier/two-strand yarns that are colorfast and resist fading with regular washing.

Cotswold soft tearaway is smoother, feels more gentle against the skin, and drapes better than its firm tearaway. It is made using the wet-laid, non-directional process that ensures a multidirectionally stable foundation that will not stretch or distort before, during or after sewing. Two weights are available.

Dalco Athletic offers two adhesive sprays for embroiderers; the AADH Letter Placement adhesive spray that is designed for temporary appliqué placement and the MSA 1000 Madeira Letter Placement adhesive spray for any type of appliqué work. The MSA 1000 is clear, repositionable, non-staining and does not build up on needles or machine parts.

For projects requiring a topping or a stabilizer that you want to completely remove once the embroidery is finished, water solubles are a great solution. New Heat N Gone®, offered by RNK Distributing as part of its Floriani Stabilizer line, gives the stability you need and the ability to remove the remnants without the use of water.

Fire Fighter is a new Maderia thread, distributed by Hirsch Intl. Corp., that is heat and flame resistant and designed for embroidery on protective clothing such as firefighter’s apparel, race car uniforms and other types of workwear. Fire Fighter thread is made of 100% Aramid, the fiber used for Nomex® and complies with ISO standards.

Pantograms Mfg. Co. announces a new compact rhinestone-setting machine. The CAMS 1V-2P is a desktop rhinestone motif machine that can be placed on any tabletop surface. It places 150 stones per minute with two colors or sizes of rhinestones or rhinestuds directly to heat transfer material.

Pulse’s new Color Change Sequence (CSS) feature makes it easy to program multiple sizes and colors of sequins in a single design. With this versatile tool, which is an option available in the Tajima DG/ML by Pulse digitizing program, create designs with sequins of different colors, shapes and sizes.

The SWF Quick Change Cap System, from SWF East, makes changing over from regular embroidery to cap embroidery as easy as changing hoops. Simply snap out a shirt or jacket hoop and snap in a cap frame; no need for tools or removing parts.

Cover up those itchy-feeling stitches with new Cloud Cover Stitch by Versatrans that is specifically designed to be used on the backside of embroidered designs. It is a lightweight, fusible material that is designed to be used in conjunction with a stabilizer when embroidering. Use on delicate fabrics to give the fabric more body.
