Ryonet Announces Developments to Riley Hopkins Line

October 2, 2014

Ryonet Corp., Vancouver, Wash., recently announced new features and improvements to the Riley Hopkins press line.

This past year saw the latest in developments from the Riley Hopkins line, with an updated color scheme, new registration gates and clamps made entirely from solid aircraft grade aluminum, and a new line of pro tabletop presses.

Blue and green has long been a symbol of Riley Hopkins presses, dating back to the restart of production in the early 2000s, but this year saw a change. The blue became black and green became the primary color of Ryonet’s choice, from Riley Hopkins to Sroque.

As a standard, the Riley Hopkins line always has used cast aluminum for its registration systems but, starting in August 2014, registration parts are now made from solid machined aircraft-grade aluminum, matching the rest of the press to its registration system. The difference between cast and milled aluminum can be found in their respective levels of durability.

Two more improvements to the system involve more heavy-duty nylon registration bolts and updates to the registration gate design itself.

The recent unveiling of the Riley Jr. screen printing press also has led to the end of another era: the discontinuation of Ryonet’s Silver Press. The Riley Jr. features integrated micro-registration on multistation units and a three-times-stronger build.

The company’s newest release, finishing out the tabletop line, will be the 1×1 and 4×1 presses that will debut later this month. They are made of steel instead of aluminum and can hold extra-large frames.
